The ear deserves
a closer look.
A familiar place for listening is also an interesting starting point for wearable development.
Begin with something familiar.
Putting on earbuds is already part of many people’s day. That familiar gesture invites a question: what would an experience built around sound, sensing and personal context feel like?
Bring different perspectives together.
Synseer’s development work explores several sensing pathways at the ear. Their usefulness depends on the product configuration, the setting and the evidence for the specific task. Combining them is a systems question, not a guarantee of an outcome.
The purpose is a useful experience.
The most compelling technology is the technology a person can understand and use. The ear-based approach is a starting point for that work: a place to investigate, learn and build around the person.
